1. How to Select the Suitable Belt for Bucket Elevator Belting

Bucket elevator belt uses belt as its traction, there are pitches between buckets, normally ,the buckets will be fixed with belt by bolts. General used belts include: ordinary rubber belt, nylon rubber belt and steel cord rubber belt. Here PK Machinery will introduce how to select the suitable rubber belt :

Ordinary rubber belt adopts cotton as its core, then molded after being coated with rubber vulcanization,. Usually, the ordinary rubber belt is used for Bucket elevator beltwith small lifting height.

 

2. BELT SPLICE

The Maxi-Splice is a mechanical clamping device with a simple three-piece construction. The patented design is for use on PVC and rubber belting. It accommodates belts of all thicknesses. Standard splice bolts will accommodate up to ½” thick belting. Longer bolts are available for thicker belts. Each splice set accommodates two inches of belt width. It is tested and approved by leading manufacturers of PVC and rubber belting.
