Impact Weft (IW) Conveyor Belt

TYPE IW-R (IMPACT WEFT WITH REGULAR WARP CORDS) 

IW/SW Steel Mesh Conveyor Belt IW-R conveyor belts, having a steel cable mesh, are impact resistant and can be used in a temperature range of -25˚C…max.150ºC. They are used for transport over long distances or for splicing with steel cord conveyor belts. Special steel cords are used to give an adequate behavior at compression, a favorable elongation and a good tearing resistance.

Impact Weft (IW) Conveyor Belt use Bekaert  IW metallic carcass for conveyor belt reinforcement. It weaves steel cords in longitudinal and transversal directions into one integrated woven steel cord fabric.

Compare with fabric belt, IW belt is much more stronger and tear resistant, more suitable for high termperature.

Compare with Steel cord belt, IW belt is more lighter and energy saving, also very good troughout ability.

Impact weft structure combined with EPDM compound, Monster IW belt are widely used in heat resistant working conditions.

Tensile streng of  impact weft belt range including IW350 / IW500 / IW630 / IW800 / IW1000 / IW1250 / IW1400 / IW1600 / IW1800 / IW2000 N/mm . While transverse strenth range from 130N/mm, 180N/mm to 200N/mm.

 

Technical data:

The widths are between 500-2200 mm for conveyor belts with moulded edges.

Feature

Long lasting and highly durable-IW fabrics are an excellent choice in quarrying, steel works, waste recycling, and mining. They help exceed a conveyor’s performance requirements in heavy duty conditions.

Just like stee cords for tire reinforcement, IW steel cords are brass coated for excellent rubber adhesion and corrosion protection. The open cord construction helps the rubber penetrate deep into the heart of the cord.
Engineered to be tough-Four characteristics make IW tough enough for demanding conditions.

IW SW Conveyor Belt

1, Steel cords are combined with RFL dipped binder yarn through a leno weaving pattern. This ensures that cables do not damage each other during operation.

2,The integrated transversal cords allow for smooth distribution of impact forces, and offer embedde protection against rips and cuts.
