The return self-aligning idler are very important component of belt conveyor. They are present along the entire Length of the conveyor, support the belt and moving the materials loaded on the belt. The diameter of the idler could be correctly selected according to the belt width and Travel speed. We produce 60 mm, 63.5 mm, 76 mm, 89 mm, 102 mm, 114 mm, 127 mm, 139 mm, 159 mm. They almost cover all belt width requirement. General steel Roller consists of idler shell, spindle, bearing, bearing house, seals equipment and axial fixed.
Return self-aligning idler for both trough and return applications are used to overcome conveyor belt mis-tracking by automatically provide conveyor belt centering. They are made to suit the existing belt profile and are constructed using a center pivot bearing. The side servo rollers sense the direction of the belt and move the roller frame to the correct central position. They are available in offset and In-line configurations.
It is recommended that one or two sets of the return self-aligning idler are installed for the return side of belt approaching tail pulley at 6 to 9 meter intervals from the pulley. It is advisable to use return self-aligning idler on the carrying side approaching head pulleys and along the whole carrying and return runs at approximately 120 and 60 meters respectively.
